Walk on walls

Hello all,

Searched around by didn't find any answer, but one of my favorite combat fearures in Solasta is the ability to walk on the walls with spells like spider climb or boots. Is it something that we could see? Makes the combat even more intersting.

Nop, sadly nothing like that was added to the game. Same as fly that is just a jump with longer range... i Won't miss those btw cos i have zero interest in playing a superman or spiderman so. But i could see why others would like those.

I wish, but it doesn't look like it. They can't even get Fly to work somewhat like it should.

Started recently to play solasta and when i saw it, loved it. Such a lost opportunity from Larian.

I could imagine them keeping it under wraps for release, alas I have to admit that's not backed up by anything and little more then wishful thinking. Same for a real fly implementation. Solasta really has a huge lead in that regard. Both would be pretty big tactical choices in combat and exploration, though they certainly make it also more difficult to design puzzles sometimes...we'll have to see, but I don't have to much hope for it.

I think the engine just doesn't support it very well.

i guess we will never know. Funny part was swen made it sound like that flying is amazing in BG 3 hehe where infact it's anything but. right now it's just a waste of spell slot whats even worse it's a wastes a concentration slot. But it does look pretty though and you don't need bonus action per say so that something!

solasta did a great job with how you interact with the environment in other aspects aswell, something fresh, it was good.
