Performance on 1060 6GB
Is there anyone here with 1060 6GB?

How is the performance so far? Which presets do you use?

1070 myself with settings mostly on high and it can be rough sometimes. Even medium.

I have a 1060 and have noticed no problems.

Using a 1060, performance changes between patches. Current build is pretty alright.

I borrowed Baldur's Gate 3 from a friend and tried to play it. My GTX 1660 just rumble and starts to heat even on a character creation screen. I thought this game would be more optimized, so I am a bit disappointed. I'm going to wait for a better optimization.

I have a 1060 6 gb. No problems what so ever. The game runs smoothly and no crashes.

1080 here, I run a 4k tv. all high settings fsr performance. You will be leaning on FSR heavy but you'll run it very ok if you're not using a 4k display.

1660ti max Q. Character creation 60fps, 1st hour is 40-60fps on the higher fps. Second hour is 30-60 fps with lost of bumps, which brings it down to about 40 fps average. All Ultra settings, without FSR. 1080p

does anyone know how 1060 handles 1440p?

I used to have a 580 which is a comparable card. It was fine @1080 high.

Not gonna help with this but I was not happy with performance before the actual release so i did an upgrade to 4070 and i have constant 60fps on best settings fullHD no DLSS/FSR.

I am not sure that any of the patches since the release improved the performance but I don't say they didn't.
Now there are some benchmarks on the YT, but its hard to find a one from recent patches that does not have bottleneck with cpu. I found this from october: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFvpfLK_sY0 (there are no spoilers, just the tutorial area) and as I said - now it might work better but it might work the same.
