IDK but a system like solasta has? i love that i can make many characters and save them for later so when i am ready to play with my friend i dont have to waste extra time making whole set ups, if thats what they mean then i think its not the worst idea. Or export a char already played so we can restart the game at lvl 1 without having to remember everything we did even. i dont hate the idea honestly.
Also this is early access and things can change so a built in character save function now could be broken with future changes.
This idea is nice and would be convenient but it won’t happen before full release.
I can argue about the fact that there is no abilities rolls so there is no need for you to save the character as you can recreate them whenever you want.
So here my way to save my character:
- Create a new game.
- Create your character.
- Wait the end of cinematic.
- When the character woke up at the first second you can control your character : Save
This new save can be named "my character" or whatever you want. And voilà! When you want to start a new game with this character load this save. Do not save on this save during your adventure.
