Handcrossbow - where to find ?

Playing now with the last patch and try to find the hand crossbows at the known locations - one near the beholder and the other on the strand near the Duergas.
Cant't find them - are there other locations ?

vendors sell them. blacksmith in druid grove and so on

they are pretty rare, i believe its just the under dark and a rare chance on vendors.

i found exactly one and i cleared 100% of the map ...

I am pretty sure one of Zhentarim goons at the back of their hideout is using dual hand crossbows. And everyone knows that the only good Zhentarim is dead Zhentarim.

I found only one - Barth (Druid grove) drops one, if he dies. In my game he survived and I will try to steal it.

You can long rest to reset vendor inventories, the grove blacksmith sells them sometimes.
