Stuck in the shattered sanctum? Spider pit?

So due to a... complex series of events, my entire party is in the spider pit. And I don't know how to get out. It's too high to jump to any of the ledges, the exit gate is locked, can't be picked or damaged.

There's a side tunnel that takes me to another area, but that just offers me a nice view of another door that's placed too high for me to reach it.

Thinking. I'm pretty sure there is an exit in there that leads to the spider cave under the goblin village but I could be wrong. I thought I was able to damage the gate too as I remember being in that situation before. Did you try different types of weapons? Blunt weapons for example?

No one with misty step that can get to the lever outside the gate?

I've got no idea what misty step is, but I'll try the gate with a blunt weapon. I didn't even know that was a mechanic.

Its a spell that allows you to teleport.

There is a lever next to the door on the right side... and there is a passage that leads to a cave again on the right side of the pit that you can jump out of if you have Str character...

or just fast travel somewhere else. you can even just go to camp for a rest and then fast travel from there.

Every type of attack does damage of a certain type. Weapons deal blunt, slashing or piercing damage (depending on the weapon) spells can do those and fire, cold, electrical, poison etc.

If you right click on an enemy (or object) the game opens an info window that tells you about the person/object including damage types that it is resistant or immune to, or vulnerable to. It will also tell you about statua effects. So if you put a bane on an enemy, and then right click on them, it will show youbthe bane and what effect that has, or if they received a bless from an enemy cleric.

So the original person doesn't need this info but if anyone new has this problem and googles it, there is a lever that opens the goblin's spider pit gate from the inside right next to the gate. It's just kinda hard to see in the dark.
