Shield Disappearing On Back When Sheathed
Please fix this. Or is there a mod that enables / shows all equipped items when sheathed?

Don't think there was a way to show them. So I just use "U" to unsheath their weapon when out of the combat.
Hope there can be a checkbox to allow me have them always unsheath their weapon.

I don't see why it matters. It's there when you need it, in combat, and not there when you don't need it. But hey, I've clearly had stupid opinions before, I'm sure this is another.

Because it looks bad.

Exactly like
- unsheathed weapons
- floating weapons magically glued to your back.
- rapiers and similar one-handed weapons hanging from your back rather than your waist.
- the lack of quivers, quarrels etc.

And because it would rather trivial to address IF they recognized it as something detrimental to the current visual appeal of the game.

+ sheeted weapons while casting spells. seriously why does my mage have a staff if it's just a toy. Same goes for cleric and mace/shield combo. You cast and they disappear into the void and are back 3 secs later. weird.

Because spellcasters don't need staves to cast spells.

You don't need a big stick for this. There are much comfortable alternatives.

yeah like having nothing at all and all your things that you have on you just disappear into thin air lol But for no reason whatsoever apart from just cos bards use there instruments instead.

BG 3 where runing naked and without anything in your hands is prefered aslogn as you have a musical instrument in your hand:)

anyway you will never get it cos you just dont have the same aesthetics likes and you don't care about it ... so talking about it is more or less pointless.

Looks more like technical isssue.
Meaning active gesticulation animation while casting is not compatible with long sticks.

I gave you the link because spellcasting in DnD has it's rules.
And if the spell has Somatic component — staff more likely will be an obstacle. So it's not the same mechanic like LoTR spellcasting.
Maybe it would be more spectacular, but not accurate to lore.

The whole thing just shows that they put a bit more effort into bard just cos someone had a good idea about it and their visuals.

Someone decided it would be cool to have instruments visible all the time and use them in casting.

But for some reason they coudn't come to the same conclusion about staffs, maces, shields and swords... TO me it looks like just a by product of larian becoming better at their work more experience and bard was one of the later classes added so it was made better.

And lore is what you make of it and no where in DNd does it say a staff cant be used you just made that up...:) and i dont even have to look it up.

DNd is just tolkien rip off and that is a rip off of all folklore from old europe always was and always will be so i dont even have to look at it and i know it...

Well, quote:

Spellcasting
You have learned to untangle and reshape the fabric of reality in harmony with your wishes and music. Your Spells are part of your vast repertoire, magic that you can tune to different situations.

So game's interpretation of bard's spellweaving is quite interesting.
