**Collector's Edition Version for EA Players
**Edited title to clarify my meaning-- The Collector's Edition includes a digital code to the game, along with the other goodies like the book, cloth map, metal d20, etc. I was just wondering if anyone knew if Larian had any plans to release a version of the Collector's Edition without the digital game code for those of us who have already purchased the game in EA.

Not sure if they're going to do one, but for those of us playing EA (repeatedly for some of us >.> ) the Deluxe/Special Edition on pre-order comes with a steam code for the game, which obviously we wouldn't need since we've already purchased/invested in the game itself. Seems kind of strange Larian wouldn't offer a version for those of us who are already playing EA so we wouldn't have to buy the game twice. Has anyone heard/read anything about this?

No, larian never promised anything.

The transaction is:
you buy EA, you got to access EA game.

Transaction done.

The game will stay at the same price on release.
He means he wants to get the special edition without buying the game again, that's all.

Exactly.

The complete lack of social skills on Steam forums never fails to astonish me.

This game won't have any editions or tiers. Just the way games should be. You buy the game and you've got the game and everything in it. No deluxe edition, no platinum, no silver or gold, nothing. No pre-order bonuses, no unique cosmetics.

Everyone who buys the game after it officially releases will get everything that people who bought the game in early access will get. They will not miss out.

Honestly if the only difference between the special edition they have up for pre-orders and the game you get from early access is having all the physical stuff like the statues or character sheets, or stickers or whatever, I really don't want the special edition, got too much clutter already. I would hope that if there is any in-game or digital stuff added it would be added to the people who bought already.

Sure that is why there is a collectors edition that makes you buy the game again.

Just a bunch of physical collections and items that you can get alongside the game. As for the game itself, nothing new is added in-game with the collector's edition. No skins, no unique weapons, no anything.

Aside from a few physical objects that people who don't get the collectors edition do the game is exactly the same.

Fact that Act 1 will apperantly be different from what we've seen in the EA is enough for me.

I can see a Special Edition upgrade in the future for the stuff that's easily translatable to a digital format like the art book or character sheets.

Everything else isn't really feasible.

Larian said that on release there will be some changes that will make game feel different from EA. And even if they didn't change anything - still just the addition of missing races, classes and (maybe) spells will be enough for me. I need my half orcs and i honestly don't care about anything else. just want my favorite race to play as, that's it.

*She, but yes, that is all I meant, I'm not saying they offered something already.

Considering the cost of the game, itself, I do feel it'd be fair to offer the special edition stuff without a game code for those of us who bought it in EA at a reduced price and without the digital code, is all. I don't want to buy the game, again, just to get the other stuff, is all.
