Hopefully they remove it or at least fix it, been like this for a few patchs and looks to be getting worse.
Rangers and druids exist and are not uncommon in this setting, people in cities like Baldur's Gate should be quite used to people walking around with huge wolves etc
I don´t live in Faerun where all sorts of sights are quite common.
Summons are causing evetrybody in the game be scared of you. Including Baals' demonic servants at the round table.
You will also probably never find quest NPC's or Traders in ACT3 since they will all be hiding in different courners or outside.
I mean, if I see someone walking down the street with a large dog, pitbull, other aggressive breeds, I'll cross to the other side. And I'm prepared to draw my firearm if it gets loose from the owner and charges at me.
But you can use this feature to distract NPC and steal smth in chests. Or to bring them closer to a barrel that will explode suddenly.
At least it can be used to your advantage on merchants/traders.
