Does Fire Resistance stack up?
Tiefling and Ranger Fire Resistance says it halves all Fire damage taken? So does it mean they can stack and make you immune to Fire damage?

Resistances do not stack.

However, you can use something such as the Rogue's Uncanny Dodge to halve the damage again, since it's not a resistance.

Yeah that sucks hard. They should make it with ''%'' just like in original game or any other RPGs. So ýou could make a Fire Proof Ranger with Tieflings.

Yeah, that's how it used to work in previous editions. There's a case to be made in either direction, but I generally like how 5e handles it. Your example being a reason why it should probably NOT work like that, of course. Immunity to one of the most common damage types in the game shouldn't be attainable in character creation.

Only way is being a sorc i think. Draconic gives them resistance and immunity for the spellschool they choose.
