Collector's Edition
I am surprised it hasn't sold out already given there are only 25,000 copies worldwide. FWIW, I bought it.

I might pre-order NFT edition if they wanna do it, of course it depends on the price. I wont pay thousands of some NFT-art, especially the future is so unsure.

I don’t see what benefit the collectors edition has over the base edition. As far as I can’t tell all you get is some piece of plastic and some useless cards. It has nothing for the actual game.

Eh, some people like having physical collectibles. Nothing wrong with it.

The map and artbook are nice. Not nice enough to pay that price for though. The rest of the items I wouldn’t take if they were offered for free.

OP: It’s expensive. I’m also assuming fans that would spend a lot of money on BG3 probably got EA already and from what I know you have to re-buy this? Might be wrong.

I tend to buy collectible stuff like this, but with such a small number available, I had expected it to be sold out before I got around to buying it. I'll resell the cards, or at least never open them, -I don't play it either - but I'll keep the rest. And I already have someone to give the extra game to.

Yeah, spending $270 on a game is already...a lot, not too many people are going to want to spend $330 for that plus already having preordered through EA.

Personally I like the cloth map, but I remember when games used to include cloth maps all the time. And if that's all I want, you can usually buy collectors edition cloth maps for less than $20 anyway, and save spending over $100 just on some random gaming statue I wouldn't want to put anywhere.

Nothing wrong with it if you want the statue, but...nah

Not really surprising it hasn't sold out already since it is a really bad CE, in content and in price.

Yes they sell it way too late, after the black friday, cybermonday, after most people already spent their christmas gifts budget... People who already paid the full game in early access have to buy again the exact same game without any compensation... the keyholder is horrible... the Magic card useless for people who don't play... There are some great things inside still and I bought it but I'm very mixed. I totally understand that many people did not buy.

I have tons of Magic cards but I wouldn't buy it. I'm not fond of miniatures (I am, I play wargames - just not those prepainted diorama stuff)

Would have they given exclusive Party miniatures for a DnD game (better than WizKids ones), that would have been cool. I probably would have thought about it.

But a diorama and some Set boosters of an underwhelming set? Nah thanks

I did pre-order it, but soon i might cancel it. I had been happy with it if there had been way to get version where i would not had to pay game 2x times if you already bought copy earlier in steam. I wait to see the upcoming panel for hope of new info. But atm it looks like you force to get 2x copies of the game if you already had one.
The cloth map reminds me uf Ultima, and for that alone I'd be tempted, but not for $270.

Same here, but I liked the other stuff too. Loved the Ultima maps

Larian place is very special to me and I bought the Collector's Edition without thinking even though 300 dollars is a big amount of money in Turkey. I love Larian and I couldn't miss this opportunity.

The amount of money they want for this is insane. I'd like the map and the minature. Forgot if the Magic cards were BG3 specific, but these are hardly worth this insane price.
