Art style

This isn't so much a complaint than more of a personal hope that the art style doesn't go 'anime'... already with the likes of Astarian you can see this sort of anime style.
As someone who grew up with Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, EverQuest and the likes of - those styles of mediaeval fantasy art have always been associated with the genre.
Recently watched Vox Machina, it was OK but again it went anime... asiany style cartoon.
This bleeds into other styles such as the choice Pathfinder went with; the only thing that put me off at least the second game was the 'world of warcraft' style art which is ok for that universe but not DnD. Personally not a fan.

Anyhow! Hopefully Baldur's Gate 3 steers away from the anime stuff and remains true to the original art style. It sets the tone better.
Perhaps they won't as anime panders to the playdough heads/Asian wannabes of today's world and hence more money!

Leave that anime crap for the Modders.

i just honestly dont have any idea what any of you are droning on about, what is even the topic of this post? LIke im sorry but if baldurs gate 3 bending because Astarion has crazy hair is just beyond me man. Youve got dudes in here saying the witcher is not an rpg, saying any rpg made in japan is not an rpg, and like at this point i dont even have any idea what principle any of you are backing up. You guys are literally spewing some of the craziest ♥♥♥♥ ive heard of in gaming on a post thats original topic didnt even make a lick of sense.
