Strictly speaking there is No Undead playable race in DnD.
There is the Dhampirs, but they are half vampires
And there is the Reborns/revenants, but they are not undeads technicaly, they are beings that came Back to life.
If you ant some Undead playable races, you have to go Homebrew or 3rd party editors, like Kobold press Empire of Ghouls stuff.
Never say never with Modders
Look at Skyrim, 11 years later there is more and better mods coming out like you'd ever believe.
Skeleton and Zombie are both races in the DMG.
Theres a tip that says these are not designed to be played by players, but the races are literally already built and written up, so a player could absolutely play as a zombie or skeleton. They would just be screwing themselves over since those races are meant to be extremely, EXTREMELY, weak. They *are* playable, they just weren't *designed* to be played. Any race is playable.
As for goblins, you could easily just take a halfling and reskin them to look like goblins.
there will definitely be undead playable races released through mods, 100%, goblins, idk, but if people keep talking about it maybe a modder will do it after full release. Orc will be a mod guaranteed though.
