There you go
He's also using "shipping", meaning they're stuffed in a package going places.
Anyway, ships and/or shippings is a made-up term for relationships/romantic pairing used by teens mostly. Teens may not know much but they do know how to butcher languages and how to use memes.
No, no, no. Ships are wooly things that eat grass and go 'baa'. Not to be confused with sailing or boats.
You just mad because I shipped Karlach with Minsc lol.
Did you at least agree with the Kagha & Minthara pairing?? I know Panda would've loved the visual of them together. 👩🤝👩🏻
No I don't hate you,, especially after reading your kind words about me.
^ Thanks everyone for sharing you ships,, even if it wasn't exactly what I expected.
We know the last 3 Origin Characters.
It was given up last year.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, Wes.
You are opening me up to YET ANOTHER STUPID TEEN IDEAL.., involving a word that means nothing. Why would anyone think that romancing anyone means 'shipping' in any way, shape, or form.
Relationships. Iirc it started from people believing characters should be in a relationship calling themselves 'relationshippers' and as is the nature of the internet this eventually just got cut down to 'ship' and then started being used to refer to the characters themselves.
Shipping is BIG with this game. Larian even asked in a survey once which origin characters people shipped with other origin characters. Astarian x Shadowheart is pretty popular.
For me, I'm not really interested in pairing npcs up, but I'd list who I'd romance as an origin character.
Playing as Lae'zel, romance Wyll
Playing as Shadowheart, slowburn romance Lae act 2 after the creche
Playing as Wyll, romance Lae
Playing as Gale, slowburn romance Lae act 2 after the creche
Playing as Astarion? ... maybe Wyll actually if I'm going redemption arc
Relationships in anime, manga, books, movies, hell pretty much any media is huge in popularity. Even while not my thing at all I am well aware of the impact it has and why you would want to add it to just about anything you can. It's also one of the most common ground things that is found among genders.
I appreciate your explanation, thank you.
You're not wrong.
However, Minsc is an idiot, and Karlach would kill him long before a 'ship started between them, regardless of his well-known steadfast unwavering stance on his ideals of justice. I hope Larian made this version less annoying to be around.
Yes and no.
I cannot say for certain because I am waiting on Patch 9 to drop to test/experience what changes they made to Minthara, since it seems over the past few patches they made quite a lot of changes to many things, good changes it seems as well.
I must have missed that part from them, as I have not seen it before (Not that I doubt that they said it). However it is odd to see how people would see SH and Astarion together, at least to me.
Agreed... I don't know who would put those two together at all.
You don't even need two characters to ever have freaking eye-contact for people to go insane with it.
Or maybe even "I'm just like Shadowheart and Astarion is SO CUTE"
