Yes....I always say kill Gale
Truth is, Gale has to die. He does not have the parasite in his skull, or if he does he is a willing servant. When you first meet him, out of all the other characters, he is the only one you do not have a mindgasm with. He knows too much. He eats magic items. His personality is grating, and he is a piece of ♥♥♥♥.
Peace

Nah, Gale has very useful powers so he'll live unless I would need to kill him in Act 2/3. Even worse: he was the only one talking about tricking Raphael yet he sold to him for the magic -- he is either a sad looser for bargaining his soul for such small price or there is going to be a really nice quest down the line b/c of that.

Lae'zel though... Even when playing as another gith wanted to get rid of her real bad. However did not do that b/c at least on few occasions I can get everyone's approval at her expense.

I don't know....playing as a lloth sworn drow I find it quite useful if people have someone they hate more than me...so Lae'zel is quite useful in a way...^^

Gale is a stark raving mad Wizard, just like his father

Who will like to have Pandarius as companion? (In multiplayer)
Prerequisite : No barrels. No fun Allowed.
Meanwhile you will find all barrels in the chest of someone whose name starts with P.

All the companions are a little whiney for my taste. I wish I could just kill all of them and use mercenaries… LS could look at adding some NPCs that don’t have some version of mental health complications

If the conventional wisdom still holds from Patch 1, killing Gale will do far more damage to you after a couple days, than taking the route of not even spawning him, let alone worrying about killing him.

naw
It ended the game for a while but you can get around that.. ♥♥♥♥ Gale. He is a traitor. Really the only companion I want from this batch is Shadowheart. Wyll is pathetic and rule breaking, Astarion is an insulting trope, La'zael is an obnoxious ♥♥♥♥♥, and Gale is as I stated above a magic eating traitor. Now if the Drow Cleric or Druid become options I would take them along. I have bedded the Drow. Best scene in the game! And druids are just awesome, so yeah. Shadowheart, Drood and Drow.... perfection.

Astarion is the only one who wants to control the parasite. I kill him everytime.

1. Gale eating magic items is what does it for me for him, that's a absolute no go ...
2. same with Astarion trying to feed on me
3. Shadowheart imo isn't real a cleric of Shar, she is sounding more like a brainwashed cleric of Selune
4. Lae'zel is a bully yes, but at least she is honest about it
5. Wyll i don't really like him, but no real reason why

so all together there's just 1 companion that is really worth it, and 4 ♥♥♥♥♥

Gale is only guilty of being a simp for a woman who happens to be a Goddess, and his condition is punishment for his thirsty ways, and a lesson for all men to never be a simp.

He is annoying as he requires fuel to run, and those artifacts are expensive and i would rather keep them for myself. He is the equivalent to Red prince- a kill on sight.

Good on you Tin for not adhering to Gale's whims.
Most of us didn't even allow him to spawn, so we do not even need to worry about him in any regard.

No spawn equals no troubles.
No unfortunate he died + necrotic stupidness and...
No we let him continue to be dead, and he dies, but takes us all with him.

Best just not to allow Gale to spawn at all. Yes?

You can. Just open a multiplayer game and open multiple versions of the client and voilá. It's a good way to test multiple classes and subclasses at once.

The game sounds a lot more esterile without the chatter tough.

I kill him for the sole reason he eats all my magic items.. But the fact you don't mind link with him is telling, i wonder if hes actually a mind flayer in disguise they are mages as well.
