How can you sell an unfinished game for 60€??!!!
You can go 20€ - 30€ if you want support during your early access but 60€?????
And your game isn't even on sale right now, in fact, i never see it below 60€.

What kind of person pays 60€ for an unfinished product??
If you bought Baldur's gate 3 when it first got put on the steam store, then you are owning an unfinished game for 2 years.

And there is no point in participating in early access.
You ruin your own experience with the game. Constantly replaying it to the new part of the release. Over and over. Once the game is completed, how can you even get enjoyment out of it.
Let's not forget the state of a buggy mess you will play the game in.

Actually, you are also PAYING to be their beta testers, finding their bugs, reporting it etc.
Imagine that.

There is literally something wrong with you if you defend this.

Apparently they can do it very easily. Many of us have purchased the EA game and are enjoying it very much. You are also buying the full game when you buy the EA version so it is a great deal to have access to the game and be able to work with the developers to ensure the best possible product upon full release.

Don't buy the EA then. They specifically didn't want people to feel pressured into buying an unfinished game.

Well, last I checked, BG3 has sold between 1 and 2 million copies, so the answer to your question is quite easily.

Ah, another one of those. Been a while. It would also seem he's not a fan of reading either, consider me shocked.

Simple they told steam to charge 60 euros for it. You think its too high don't buy. Will not have an impact on this game, but if enough units are not sold at that price the next game Larian puts out may be lower.
Razorblade Jun 29, 2022 @ 6:09am
That's the thing: they don't need "support." Larian has plenty of money from past successful games; BG3's Early Access is effectively just a pre-order with the pre-order bonus being beta access to the game.

Larian have shown many times to be trustable, this is how DoS2 was promoted and it turned to be one of the best modern CRPG. Going from here, you are free *not* to spend your money if you judge this isn't worth it. I myself already got well enough entertainment value out of these 60$ so I won't complain.

Value is subjective.

Now having said that, if you don't like the deal then don't buy it. It's that simple. Other people may make different decisions than you do.

They don't want support during the early access.
A more important question is, how do they cram all that graham?

Factually and objectively false - BG3 is on sale for $60.
