Bugged Rothe

In Grymforge there's a rothe persuasion check that is bugged.

When you meet the duergar who tells you to whip rothe in order to clear rubble from a passage you can speak to the rothe if you use the speak to animal spell, tell the rothe to give in to rage and not attack everyone, just their masters. However, I got a 10 against a 10 difficulty check so it should succeed yet said I failed.

Using an inspiration point, I re-rolled and got an 11 against a 10 difficulty check. It still says I failed. Clearly, this persuasion check is bugged.

I'm posting here so that Larian can hopefully see and fix it.

A known bug caused by patch 8, I think it has something to do with forcing the die roll animation to finish quicker so the rolls you're seeing are not what was really final, Just as an example your 11 on your screen was not what was really achieved in the roll.
