For example in Divinity Original Sin 2, you'd use a mortar to crush the bones, thus gaining bone dust.
@crim
yh... i had a feeling that could be the case... i cant remember where i saw it,,, but there was a comment someone made about "maybe" adding them constructs (shrugs)
the idea of terminator in bg makes me giggle lol
o wait no... maybe more robocop then terminator...
(terminator - cyborg > no organic parts, robocop - part organic)
I made a post about this literally like 1+ year ago too! I always take the 3 brains and I always take the 3 info tablets and stick them in my camp.
Never considered the possibility that it might be used as food for the tadpole. That's pretty interesting.
Another possibility I've considered is perhaps we'll use it for something even greater. These brains are still alive correct? Perhaps we can talk to them or pull information from them.
dont feed the tadpole! XD
you'll only make it stronger XD
lol, should start a run where you bring the brains along with you wherever you go :),
poor things have a crappy life :<
first they get ripped out of a skull, then left to die in the ships explosion, IF they were lucky enough to survive that,,, that just lie there,,,cold and alone rotting away, and if they DO get collected by some psycho that has a thing for collecting brains,,, they are stuffed in a chest to rot instead :'<
#free the brain, #they just want to be loved, #bring them on your adventure :P
- The brains could very well be used as crafting material
- If we decided to embrace the tadpole, and to a point of becoming a mindflayer we could read the extra info on those tablets in their entirety, and not just the cursory overview we get from the narrator
- One of the brains, the one that is sitting next to the tablet that speaks of a githyanki warrior alluding to having endured centuries of darkness (as there is nothing left of them but the brain), could belong to Gith, the first Githyanki Leader, and it might have something important to do with the artifact later on in the game
- They could be, if we turn into mindflayers, our first literal brain food, especially when it comes to the eldritch brain
- The eldritch brain could have something important to tell us if we ever used the read thoughts scroll/spell and tried to examine/interact with it, maybe it might allow us to actually read its thoughts
That's all for now.
I might come up with some more later.
I like to pick them to decorate the stone table at the camp. Usually I get the hag's toad kettle too, love the looks, great details.
ooo i like them ideas :),
@Brigador
still counts as being left sad and alone to rot :'( XD
A potential companion, that's a golem of some kind, or an Autoniton type thing you encounter than you can place one of the brains into (you choose!) to make an autonomous companion.
Another thought I had (Yes, I've been pondering this for over a year) is the idea that you could potentially grow the brains into the little thrall things like the brain you can get on the ship, potentially if you go the mindflayer rout.
there might be constructs at some point (who knows),
cant remember where i saw it but im sure i saw a construct-ish looking team member....
(but i think it was a mod...)
