I'm disappointed in you. What negative is there when it comes to Wyll? Besides he has all the power he needs from a certain lady friend. If only you could follow his lead when it comes to GQ ;)
From what we've seen so far, I have no reason to -not- give in to the tadpool. I mean this is the narrative of your main character. You can't die because you can just be resurrected any number of ways including the camp NPC whose sole job is to rez you for a small amount of coin. And thats if the tadpool even could kill you. But it wont. Itll just be a source of power. I do hope they offer a separate path, as there seems to be no reason to resist at this point. Besides, you miss out on interacting with your "perfect partner" if you resist, which feelsbadman.
Yeah, I think 12 is a realistic place to stop, though it depends. The Cleric gets his final power at 14, but Paladin gets their final power at 18, and everyone else is in between those numbers. So, it might be fair if no one gets their final power? But yeah, idk. Seems like its gunna be odd no matter how they slice it. But 9th level spells are so powerful theres no way they can give us them.
I would say, reasonably, level 9 makes the most sense. Most campaigns dont really go above 9 in table top, and to be quite honest, since we already played through the first 4 or 5 levels of BG3, that would be the first part of a campaign. So, for the next act, I think it would be fine to stop at 9. Though, based on how fast we're leveling, I really, really, dont see how it can be as low as even 12.
Based on what they are making it seem like theres going to be dozens of hours of story progression, and we're capped out in only a couple of them? They'd HAVE to give us like, level 17 otherwise we'd be capped out way too damn early.
we're in Act 1. I dont know how many acts there are, but if it was only 2, that would be kinda pointless to break it up into Acts. So, minimum of 3 acts. That puts us at around level 14. But based on the leveling speed, that still feels way too short, considering this game has like 4 years of development, and has shown us it intends for us to be capped out in about an hour or two, I know leveling slows down but it wont slow down THAT MUCH. We'll be capped beore we even hit the "final chapter".
So. I guess Tl;Dr
I hope they figure out the level pacing.
BUT. Guess what no matter what they do, modders will finish it. Expect level 20 mods with at least -some- 9th level spells and class features. Modders have already given us level 5 and 3rd level spells.
As Ronin Gamer said about there being 2 entities, just very well be the case. There is "something" inside you that finds the dream entity revolting. It could also be just symbolic of your immune system fighting off the creature's infestation.
Larian I hope will hurry up and show us reasons to choose the alternative path.
Using the tadpole power strenghten the tadpole of the whole party.
On my part I like to do multiple playthrough so Ill probably going to try it once in one of them on release,
This is the reason why ill take all those 3 Brains brains allways with me and bring them to the camp. You never know when youll have need of another perfectly fresh brain from a jar.
I'm starting to wonder about you now lol. First the jealousy over WM and now an obsession to break Wyll away from his lady....is there something you're trying to tell us?
I'm pretty certain WM herself accused you of jealousy. I'm merely reiterating ;)
One might argue that it's more about Wyll himself than his situations as you call it.
Of course you are. ;) /slowclap
