I can't say anything in Astarion's defense though, he does literally do that in the game. Given what he is I don't know why you would find that surprising though.
He's a vampire. What the ♥♥♥♥ do you mean? It's not like he was trying to slip you the D.
Yet. Maybe in the later acts :P
For me, most of these characters will probably fair better when the origins are completed and players get to interpret their characterization. I think I will probably play origins more than making a original character do not steal (then again i do love my drow lady OC).
A racist lizard
A cult victim
A vamp who will literally drink your blood while you sleep
A "wave" addict always asking for your nice stuff so they can get a fix
And a hero who sold his soul to a demon
Yeah... I'll go it alone LOL!
