Report a translation problem
In patch 5 I had to just save right before touching the transponder and reload until she spawned properly after the cutscene. Think I had to reload like 3 times before it worked properly...
If you haven't already, try to verify files through steam and be sure all mod data is deleted properly if you've ever used any.
Yeah I noticed this too, they changed it to where if there are no enemies present then the mindflayer goes for you instead. In previous patches it didn't matter if teammates were downed when you touched the transponder, so long as they aren't dead, but that may have been changed too I suppose.
Edit: Curious if you ended up getting it working with patch 7?
