Stop messing up my spells!

I keep trying to reorganize my spells, so I can find the ones I'm looking for more easily, but the game keeps on scattering them back the way they were by default. I even try making a custom tab and switching to it, but it keeps switching back to the default tab. Why is it doing this?! Why is it not just leaving my spells the way I organized them?!

In the options menu, there are toggles for auto adding and removing spells from your hotbar. Have you tried those?

That's one issue.

Another is that the new UI loves to reset things to default.

I've noticed this as well. It seems to happen when loading a save game. Ive seen it happen when long resting as well, but it doesn't always happen. It nearly always does when loading a save.

Leaving the prologue does it, too. After crashing on the beach I need to reorganize my hotbar. And do the same for the companions as well.

For whatever reason the game doesn't save things like that. Even the inventories are all scrambled. (If you're a neat freak like me) and try to semi organize your inventories.

You have to keep clicking on custom to get the custom menu. A real pain, the new system, the old one was probably better, despite the lack of a search option.

The old was way worse, but the new one needs improvement. Probably a bug.

No, you just have to click on CUSTOM... EVERY time you want the CUSTOM menu.

This issue is enough to have me wait for another patch to prevent actions being reset on every load and rest.
