Detected Data Mismatch?

Alright, so first thing's first, I do use mods, but I've deleted all of them prior to the patch, and also deleted the ones within the game folders as well. I checked their page, tried to do everything it asked me to and nada. I then verified the game files, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but this still shows up.

Unlike others in a different thread, the game loads up for me, but there are a few bugs. When trying to choose tattoos or makeup for the character, the whole graphic for it disappears. Aka, the icon, the color options, the left/right buttons just straight up disappear. And when entering the game, there's two UIs for me, the new one, and then the old one is overlaid on top of the new. It's primarily the stop time function that's still there.

Not sure what else I can do with this one; I wouldn't really mind the bugs if it wasn't for the old UI getting in the way of the new one. Any ideas on what to try next?

I do not use mods and saw the same message but ignored it without any noticeable downsides. Even after deleting all of my old save games I still see that warning. The mods you previously installed may have altered some configuration files so just deleting them may not completely undo their effect.

I have a similar issue. Only difference is the bugs. I have no tooltips, can't select subraces, and when I select a background, it only gives me skills if they are in my class skill list.

I tried deleting the folders suggested here:

but that caused my computer to crash once I changed from fullscreen to fake fullscreen.

I have used mods before, deleted them all, verified files, reinstalled. Currently verifying files after the crash.

*edit: files verified. I have seen lots of people having similar issues, so hopefully there is a patch in the works

SAME PROBlem but it seems to be on their side, bcs i reinstall game and deleted Folder and newer played whit Mods on the game ether and still get Detected Data Mismatch?

Yeah. I had a crash saying that I had mods or a mismatch in my cache files? Not Sure what to make of that. I don't use mods, either. I reported the issue.

I crashed on my character level up screen.

I am constantly crashing either at character creation, or playing and getting that message, I have reinstalled the game, do verify files like every launch. Its getting ridiculous at this point. I have done both directx11 and the other one there. tried all the "fixes"... and still crashing every like 5 to 10 mins. There as a brief window I played for like an hour, but trying to do anything involving making elves and half-elves... crashing constantly.

It is on their end. When I got this message, I completely removed everything Baldurs Gate 3 related from my PC. I then updated my drivers and reinstalled the game, and still got this message.

I'm having the data mismatch error also when I hit play and bring up the launcher, I have never installed any mods or have any previous patch files in the data folder. And when I go to verify the game files steam comes up with a prompt, are you sure you want to uninstall the game. I'm pretty sure I did not hit the uninstall button, so why is it doing this ?

Delete Larian folders:

c:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Larian Studios

I have only played for a couple of hours and just ... eh, "landed". No mods, nothing. What the bleep is happening?
