The hair looks not as good. How does it look if you turn TAA and CAS back on?
The overall presentation looks better to me with the raised saturation, the world looks more colourful. Normally some people wont like it, the same way some dont like OLED and prefer LCD systems.
But hair quality seem to look bad now, maybe you can check yourself in the character creation. The skin effects might be changed due to the addition of the battle damage effects. I personally dont like the worn out effects, maybe they can stretch it out so it appears very late, now it looks like theyre getting too dirty too soon, and it stays there all the time. Its also natural to get oily and sweaty, so the reflection stats should match the worn out effects, maybe get sweaty first.
What downgrade? you can even see better facial shading and cheek bone structure in after, the PC version isnt gonna be downgraded to meet the console versions, the only reason that would ever is maybe to make them cross play which ima guess PS still isnt open to allow that for most titles.
However, this is from a year and a half ago and is reflective of the lighting change in the game.
Pretty much. Plus, it's always the other way around. If development started on PC, the console version would most likely be the downgrade. With most games being developed for consoles first and PC ports being an afterthoughts nowadays, PC always gets the stick until it's fixed down the road. Wo Long is a good example, currently.
