Short rest disabled
I don't remind have quote that short rest disabled could be very persistent. It seems have started either few before or few after the combat with 2 NPCs against Gnolls.

No matter how I can't short rest, and short rest button is disabled when my injured MC is selected. if I select a companion the short rest button is enabled but if I click it a message says it's impossible.

Is it a bug? Or some special trick or rule? Click rest is still possible. Teleports, go to camp, more nothing fix the problem.

As I reach a end of Act 1 I'll probably give up with this character but I'd like have more information on short rest disabled.

You can only take two short rests. After that you must take a long rest to reset the ability to do short rests

I know that, it's not the point, moreover when I select a companion the button is enabled showing the 2 blue dots, and click only get a message that it's impossible.

The two weird point, 1 it is disabled and no blue dot only when my character is selected not companions. 2 it was very persistent I finished the play without have it ever changed.

EDIT:
Most probably two bugs, but report is annoying when the rules that apply aren't clear.

Yeah, like the guy above said, you are supposed to get 2 short rests before having to long rest again.... if you aren't it is a bug and you should definitely report it. If you report it worst thing that can happen is they investigate and figure out why you weren't getting to short rest, best situation you told them about a bug and hopefully they'll work to fix it. So don't ever worry about reporting bugs. It is always a positive contribution.

Ok I believed there was rules disabling short rests like enemies close by and then perhaps wild area. So no rules at all?

You can't if enemies are close by, I'm not exactly sure how the game determines this. I've been able to short rest most places, with a notable exception if I remember correctly of the hag's dungeon. Not exactly sure, its been a while. Once they release a new class and I do another playthrough I'll try testing it out again. It does seem to be inconsistent though.

I had an issue with a mod that for some reason disabled resting and fast travel, have you confirmed that it's not an issue like that?

I vaguely remind that, that's probably from this I remind it's not always enabled.

I didn't knew there was mods, so nope, corrupted save is possible.

Just change short rest to infinite, they did to long rests so what the point to limiting short rests. Because of infinite long rests it makes short rest a waste of time and of no value to have in the game.
