Chapel Entrance encounter- the stone does not break cracked floor
So after the patch it seems that at the Chapel Entrance I would always shove the one guy off the box and then shoot the hanging stone to break the cracked stone floor taking out two of the NPCS, now when you shoot it seems to do nothing at all, anyone else have this happen?

I shot it, and it fell. And I did it as a druid so I know I'm on patch 4. Did you miss?

To be a little more descriptive, I shot the ROPE just above the block of stone

Had that encounter just today. There were no issues.

So I figured it out, if you use the same character as the one that starts the combat, normally my main (playing a ranger) I then try and shoot the rope and the rock falls then does nothing. Now I tried it again this time with another character that did not start the combat and it works fine. I've done this afew times with the same result. Thinking its a new bug?

There is no stone hanging about the cracked stone, what do I do?

1. not digging out 3 years old threads; the game was released 2023, everything before is Early Access and those build were very different & unfinished

2. You would probably be the first that doesn't have the stone there - are you sure you mean what they talk about?

3. no matter if it's there or not, it would only be one possibility to get in: just use the door (there is also a more or less hidden back entrance, that usually works as the exit, as in this phase of the game it's rather difficult to enter). Just whacking the cracked stone would maybe also work but might be difficult, same reason as the back entrance (never tried it though).

All the stone dropping does is group them in front of the room (waiting for you) and a barrel that can explode. All you have to do (the easy way), is go down the stairs and try a performance etc roll to gain entry... or you can gain entry lock picking at the first chapel door down near the water.

You have to shoot the wire, not the stone.
The best way to enter is not through there... But to pass a persuasion check at the door and to get them with their pants down.

Entering through the hole triggers combat immediately, but it is fine as you can just shoot the barrel in the next room with a fire arrow 1st action and BOOM, they are all dead.
