Moonbeam is WAY OVERPOWERED! Holy crap!
Firstly, this spell is completely bugged in favor of the party. Here we go.

Deals double the amount of damage it should! Moonbeam hits enemies when you cast it/move it AND when they start their turn!

Moonbeam should NOT deal damage when you cast it, it should stay on the ground and at the start of the enemy's turn it THEN deals damage, OR if they walk into it.

Example: Cast moonbeam on foe for 2d10 damage, Foes turn begins takes 2d10 MORE.
Even if they save, that's GUARANTEED 2d10 damage (half damage on saves) every turn

Oh the power! Incredible! The caster can do 2d10 damage with a spell that barely requires concentration! And I read on this forum that the poor fighters deal only a measly 275 per turn. Yep, time to nerf the casters again, ladies and gentlemen.

The best part I'd if you upcast a spell like call Lightning all 10 rounds use the upcast version, 10 rounds of a lvl 6 call Lightning is pretty crazy
i defended the Halsin Portal using Moonbeam, firewall, and spirit guardians. all my characters did was pew-pew,heal occasionally, and stand still on the rock...lol

Yea, I also used Firewall and SPirit guardian, it's "OP" enough for that encounter
Nah, you can only have one concentration spell going so it's fine. Cloud of daggers does the same thing. Meanwhile fighters are just brain-dead left clicking anything and everything down a million times per turn so who cares.

I don't know if it is supposed to be this way but circle of daggers a level 2 spell works the same way. Drop it on the enemies, they take damage, and then when their turn comes around, more damage. Amazing spell.
Moon beam is not OP. You need to concentrate to use it. Meanwhile optimized rangers/rogues and martial classes can do over 200 damage every turn. Has free CC in throw or improvised melee that cost no spell slots. STR monk can hop like the hulk to anywhere on the battlefield. Martial classes can even use scrolls with zero magical class requirements making spell casters suck even more.

As a druid with a melee attack I can do an upwards of 150, imagine if I had the multi attack fighters have lol I'd be wrecking although that's just my attacks my 19 summons who can take full advantage of multi turn paralyze I do some silly damage. There really so many powerful builds that no class is weak honestly. Some are far superior especially in certain styles but overall they all seem strong.

I heard way of the fist monk with 3 points in Rouge done right can do an upwards of 600 damage a turn even lol
