Fog Cloud doesn't work.
Supposed be no ranged attacks into or out of the fog. Fighting the hobgoblin dude, this doesn't happen AT ALL. Can't attack through it, but they can definitely attack into it.

Also pushes are bugged to ♥♥♥♥. 80% of the time you won't push the AI, but the AI will move you 100% of the time. Need to see the rolls for these to see if they're bugged or not, since it just says "used shove" without showing the roll you made.

There is a combat log on the right side of the screen that is minimized automatically. Click on the arrow near the right side of your screen near the lower middle edge. It will show you everything you rolled.

Yes but it doesn't show values for shove. Or maybe the tooltip wasn't popping for me?

Tool tip in game is written incorrectly. From my understanding fog cloud is working as intended. It just isn't intended to be very helpful.

Due to creatures becoming blind in the fog cloud and creatures gaining disadvantage for shooting into the cloud it pretty much just cancels out all advantage/disadvantage.

The only thing it is valuable for is stealthing inside it, or casting it on enemy archers to force them to move and lose advantage from high ground.

Advantage/Disadvantage cancel each other out and these spells usually inflict both. There are a few ways around it but it's not really the point of the spell. There is a few spells this can be done with but in this EA, the only way i can think you'd achieve this is with the darkness spell and a Warlock's Devil Sight Invocation, which allows the Warlock to see through darkness, either natural or magical.

However darkness requires concentration and Hex requires concentration, you can only have one and most of the time as a warlock, you'll want Hex.

The spell that does block most (but not all) Projectiles is Wind Wall, which is a 3rd level.

The problem is being blind causes you to not to be able to make ranged attacks out of the fog cloud. When the blinded condition itself in pnp doesn't make any such restrictions, you just get disadvantage due to being forced to use your other senses.

So the tooltip is right that you can't shoot out of it, but it's wrong that you can't shoot into it either. Both should just be done at disadvantage, with the attack going in normal due to the blind advantage canceling out any disadvantage.

You are correct.

I currently like BG3 system better because it allows for better area denial, but if you think it would be better to also allow creatures to shoot out of the cloud at disadvantage you are correct that they should. It would be very niche cases where anyone would choose to do this though.

I'd just prefer it be one way or the other. Either you can shoot into or out of it, or you can't. Not half of PNP way, half their own homebrew.

But yeah, the tooltip definitely needs correcting at the very least.
