Book "crash"

JUST FYI, when you try to unlock the book in the first crypt, you get stuck in a mode you can not get out of and you need to shutdown the game to get out of it.

I havent had this problem. Is this a new issue since patch 4? Is it crashing on the dice roll or what?

More importantly, have you submitted a bug ticket to Larian?

Yes, it's new. It freezes up after you roll.

This is my bug report. Is there a better place to do bug reports?

This is a known issue with some cut scenes that happens sometimes right now.
They need a little nudge to continue and hitting the space bar will help any time that happens!

For a bug report, the best place is on the BG3 launch screen. At the top is a Feedback and Help button. That goes right to Larian. So that is where I would go.

Yes, it's new. It freezes up after you roll.

Did you try pressing the space bar a few times?

I know this sounds like did you blow on the cartridge on the old Nintendo games but trust me this sometimes helps.

pressing space bar does work. try it. i have never had a time when space bar did not advance the scenes.
