Vampire Race question...

Will Larian Studios newly feature a playable Vampire race in this game?, I want to play this game as Alucard from the Castlevania games as soon as possible really.

I mean, one of the companions in the game might tickle your fancy in that regard. Though they are a specific class and have both positives and negatives to being what you are looking for, so take that into consideration. On full release you should be able to play as that companion as your character. unlike EA right now.

Months ago Larian said there will be 16 races instead of 15, & I instantly felt they were adding the vampire spawn race!

I know they've seen the demand for it, this wasn't the first or last topic that has asked for a vampire type race for BG3.

Why should players be forced to play as Astarion just to experience the vampire life lol, so something tells me Larian heard their cries & is now working on the 16th race. (aka) vampire spawn.

Vampire isnt a race in dnd. Vampire is a trait. there isnt a race of vampires anyone can be a vampire. Elves, Dwarves, Halfings, Teiflings, Im pretty sure a Tortel can be a vampire

They're referring to the Dhampir race from the upcoming Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft book, I believe. They're effectively vampires, except they're actually balanced.
