Killing Dror Ragzlin discretely?
Is there a way yet to kill Dror Ragzlin without aggro'ing the entire goblin camp? The game heavily implies you should be able to do so- Halsin even specifically says that you can choose to leave him behind in order to stealthily take out just the leaders without fighting the whole camp.

I don't think it's possible at the moment. Even if you ask the giant spiders to attack him while your party stays out of the battle, after a few turns goblins become aggressive and attack you anyway.

It wasn't originally possible to save Shadowheart from her pod on the ship, but is now. Maybe it'll be possible to assassinate Ragzlin later on.

Personally, I can rarely manage to take out any goblins discreetly, except for the ones in the blighted village and the sleeping ones in the goblin camp - after poisoning their beer.

Priestess Gut can be taken out discreetly by going to her room and bursting her down in a surprise round. The drow is too far away to call for help, so by surprise push 2/3 goblins down the hole near her, and burst her and the last goblin down in a surprise round. Dror can be taken out discreetly to the extend of just killing the goblins around him. If you do this without any of them moving too far back and out of sight of the goblins above the spider pit, everything else should remain non-hostile.

@Cyroy how exactly did you get them to remain non-hostile? I did as you described, and the goblins above the spider pit remained yellow on the map during the fight. But once the fight is over, when I start walking around, they turn red and attack as I approach- as does every other goblin. Same if I just immediately teleport to the Goblin Camp waypoint after the fight. All the goblins magically know I've killed him.
I think the general issue is that for whatever reason once you kill Ragzlin that's the trigger for the remaining goblins to turn hostile. As said above you can take out Gut and the drow as well discreetly but whether it's because of how many are surrounding Ragzlin or he's seen as the true ringleader for them...I dunno. But I'd totally agree that something like using the spiders for instance or dropping a chandelier on him or firing a pushback arrow that sends him into a pit from stealth....should allow you to take him out discreetly and not turn the camp hostile...at least not without explanation anwyay.

I'm sure at some point it could be said that it's fair that the entire camp turns hostile to any outsiders due to the fact they now know there are assasins or some type of foul play going on that eliminated their leaders....particularly if they are connected through the absolute/worms.

I been suggested branding my whole team by someone who claim it helped keeping them neutral after dror’s death??? He said it only happened the time everybody was marked. Worth a shot, im planning to test this once I enter the goblin camp.

I wasn't able to do it either. I got the priestess and the drow out quietly no problem, but killing Dror set all of the other goblins off no matter how carefully I tried to avoid that.

Eventually, I stopped worrying about it and just embraced anti-goblin genocide.

Dude, this topic is from 2021. Even if there was a way now it wouldn't have worked back then.

Might want to start paying attention to what you're digging up before replying.

Necroing aside

I killed the entire inside of the ruined temple area. Every last one of the people there, before I took on Dror and his small group there. It was pretty easy if you use range and keeping doors closed to your advantage.

I killed everyone instantly by placing 2 smoke barrels at his throne, doing a bard performance at his throne, everyone gathered round. entered combat mode. bard exits area, fighter shoots hanging lamp. All dead.

Yeah, I blew everyone up too. Yet despite all the fun exploding it felt somewhat unsatisfying. I usually prefer a stealth or social approach.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
