Sounds like it isnt what im looking for.
They were being sarcastic. Move along this game clearly is not suited to you.
You will not like this game and definitely should not get it in early access. At least go watch some gameplay videos first.
I only whizzed over here as someone mentioned it in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance forum and i just assumed it might be similar.
I said thats where i heard of this. Please try harder.
Honestly, I thought so for the first half hour I played as well, then it sort of grew on me and got better and better. Now I think it is a slightly above average game. It will never be a great game, but not nearly as bad as a lot of the review bombers made it out to be.
Having said that BG3 is way better and kicks its ass into oblivion.
Most hack & slash games suck. Will advise you to turn away now and not come back as D&D ruleset is king.
Honestly man, they are two very different types of games. BG3 is already a pretty good game and is constantly getting better. But go watch some videos on it or something to see if it is to your tastes. Also please, please, I can't stress this enough read the shiny blue box for EA information on the store page before buying BG3.
I was being silly not sarcastic. Or at least so I thought. Anyway, apologies OP. It is 5e, it is turn based and it is slow. You won’t like it.
My problem with it is how unpolished it is. I'm all for a D&D arpg, but it just looks half-assed to me.
I've got high standards.
