New race Idea: Revenant
So I've been looking around sort of passively as 5e race variants and whatnot, and discovered half-Orcs get Dragonmark of finding ( or something, it looks fun) - and Revenant, which Half-Elves and Regular Orcs also get.

Do you think it'd be possible after they add Half-orcs for them to add another Race "Revenant" that uses a half Elf/Half Orc "body" ( you choose which) and fits in? -you'd probably have to choose a race goal like " X killed you" or some other goal "related to your death" I think the wording was - Obviously it'd have to be... Tweaked, or have the Revenant "end goal" be after the main game story, as assuming I remember right, Revenants die after their goal is complete.

Side note: Do you think Humans will get variant Human sub-race, and Half-Orcs will get Dragonmark of Finding?
As we have a LOT of Elves.
We have High Elf, Drow, Forest Elf, Half High Elf, Half Drow, Half Forest Elf,

and then in Drow there's like 3 sub-race drow like Seladrine I think. ( too many elves for my taste :P).
It'd be nice also if they added Gith Zerai, and instead of "Githyanki" as the only Gith, it was "[Gith] - Yanki / Zerai "

yes to the revenant, i really really want my undead waifu :P
It would also be interesting for a storyline....how people would react...do you have to disguise yourself ?

Dragonmarks are from Eberron are they not?

Also about revenants, they are undead so the tadpole should not really effect them i think.
Not to mention should they achieve their goal, or not within the limited time they get they would pass on.

well you could say the same about vampires....and the tadpole might stop the decay process as it even protects vampires

Players don't typically get to play undead in D&D, but then there's Astarion...

The Undead are usually reanimated corpse beings often connected with Necromancy whereas Vampires are undying, immortal beings.

Vampires according to 5e: Vampire
Medium undead (shapechanger) , lawful evil

Indeed, they were allway undead, so i forgot to mention this, which is my bad.
Allthough with vampires perhaps it is a bit different than with other undead, so it might be a bit okay. However a Revenant that was animated by magic, and only to achieve one goal not sure how it would with.
The vamphyr(?) are the bloodsuckers that are not of the undead kind if memory serves right.
