Also about revenants, they are undead so the tadpole should not really effect them i think.
Not to mention should they achieve their goal, or not within the limited time they get they would pass on.
well you could say the same about vampires....and the tadpole might stop the decay process as it even protects vampires
The Undead are usually reanimated corpse beings often connected with Necromancy whereas Vampires are undying, immortal beings.

Indeed, they were allway undead, so i forgot to mention this, which is my bad.
Allthough with vampires perhaps it is a bit different than with other undead, so it might be a bit okay. However a Revenant that was animated by magic, and only to achieve one goal not sure how it would with.
The vamphyr(?) are the bloodsuckers that are not of the undead kind if memory serves right.
