how to get shadow heart out of chamber in baldur's gate 3

first you need to look the panel do not hit it then you need to make your way down the hall to the chamber where you see another person in it that you cant talk to behind that theres a body on the floor you need to get the key then make your way back down the hall to the left theres a chest on a table get the gem out of it and it will go into the panel that next to shadow heart in the chamber

then use the gem int he panel next to her

Or alternatively, just ignore her pod and head straight to the left path where you find the chamber that insta turns the poor woman into a mindflayer. Grab the key from the dead Mindflayer on the platform then head on back to where Shadowheart is and free her then.

Or have a character with high wisdom who can pass a skill check to unlock it with arcane knowledge.

If you are a Warlock or Wizard, you can bypass all of that and just Arcane it open.

Even with the rune from the chest, you'll need to use the tadpole to open the pod. Hopefully, you don't roll a one on the Illithid Power check.

If your character is a rogue, he/she will have a set of lockpicks and will be able to pick the lock on that chest. But why bother when you can just go fetch the key? Be sure to kill that little intellect dev. you meet on the way.
