Tiefling human-like eyes?

I'm just curious about Tiefling eyes, I have to say I am no big fan of the fact that all Tieflings looks like real devils.

I know I can change my eyes and everything else like I want but is it against the DnD Lore to give a Tiefling more human-like eyes? Do they all have glowing devilish eyes?

Given that Tieflings just have had a Fiend/Devil ancestor somewhere in their genealogy, it should be perfectly valid to mix&match to a certain degree, because that's exactly how genetics works, in a nutshell... just because something is dominant, it doesn't mean that it *always* gets passed down, since there's also the recessive features, which in this case could very well be human eyes instead of devil-/fiendish ones.

That said, it would be hard to explain then how your Tiefling could have Darkvision, what with him no longer having "supernatural" eyes.
