GREAT IS THOON
THOON IS GREAT
ALL PRAISE THOON
THOON PRAISES US
THOON SHALL BRING ABOUT THE COMING OF THOON

(FYI to those confused, Thoon was a deity/entity/philosophy/thing worshipped by a strange sect of mutated mind flayers who ventured beyond the known universe and returned warped and changed. They were known to be even more horrific than normal mind flayers, in both body and mind. No one knew who or what 'Thoon' was, and the mind flayers themselves would not or could not explain, even when under magical compulsion. Overall they tended to not be rather .... coherent.

This was back in 3rd edition, and to my knowledge WotC never really explored them, so I thought I'd explain. Personally I loved both Thoon and 3rd edition, so props to the OP. Seeing someone mention the madness that is Thoon made my day. Thank you! :LaughingOwlcat:)

I hope we do, but you're probably right. But you never know.

But you know who does know?

Note: there was waaaaaay too much CO-CA-INE available to WotC C level back then, which is why they lost the company.

>Legal Department has made us reinforce the point that in no way is the Fantasy drug called "CO-CA-INE" related to any real world narcotics or CIA funded Latin American, Central American or Mexican based Operations.

And yes, the FBI did raid the original D&D offices and yes, the FBI have classed D&D as a "gang related activity" in USA prisons.

Yes: Americans really are TADPOLE BRAIN WORMS.

Yeah that makes sense. A lot of their recent decisions can only be explained by severe brain damage. I would've guessed a form of parasitic fungus or an unfixed gas leak at their building, but prolonged drug abuse seems more fitting.
