How do you use a Potion of Healing on another character?

I don't know if it's me missing something but I cannot seem to be able to administer a Potion of Healing to another injured member of my party, anyone with some sort of Heal spell can heal them but it can't, apparently, be done with another persons potion.

I noticed that as well with a downed character. You have to "help" them after they succeed their death rolls and then give them a heal pot.

You can help them up before they fail or succeed their rolls too!

Thorwing them at a party member seemed to work last week. Haven't played since then.

Throw a healing potion next to them, not at them

This. Hit them with the bottle, and it damages them Have it smash on the ground right next to them and it heals them.

So chucking a Potion of Healing onto the ground next to them will heal them, this game gets stranger and stranger, what the hell was wrong with just allowing you to administer a potion to another character?

making someone drink while unconscious could make him choke and he die, spashing around his head then vapour can heal him, perfectly normal :), lol

Drowning an unconscious member of your party with a healing potion is probably quite traumatic. Safer to heal them with vapours.

What about pouring the potion over them? Theoretically a healing potion is a "cure wounds" spell (which has a range of "touch") in a bottle so it should work.
