I like the skyrim intro - you never know whats going to happen - will you reach the fort or will your carriage be launched into space because of some mod.

I understand but im also not sure - where would you draw the line? Just the ship - why not other parts that seem like tutorials etc.? But it should probably be easy to implement a start after the ship.
But i doubt that they will add that now since ppl would stop to play/test the intro.
It'd make play testing much easier, especially if there'll be updates that would make previously saved games incompatible.

I agree. Although killing the brain is a good time.
Alternate Start - Live Another Life, a mod for Skyrim that gives a couple different starts than the regular Prisoner intro. This mod is practically essential if you have a heavily modded Skyrim because as mentioned, the regular Skyrim intro does not like mods.
