This thought had come across my mind the other day. Minthara's romance currently seems quite out-of-place, considering the fact that she isn't really involved with camp life (at least with how I have chosen to play the game). It's not that I mind, but I think this would be a great opportunity to mention that Halsin would be another good option from this portion of the story arc, in my humble opinion.

Maybe we could get a petition started? Hahaha

I wouldn't really call it a romance, like you can have with your companions. It's more a "you're hot, let's have sex" thing of female Drow.

Will Halsin be a future companion and romance?

He said at the end of the grove quest that he will stay at camp. Do you think he will be a permanent companion after Early access/at some point later in early access? It's obvious the devs put much thought in his design so do you think it's a possibility we'll get him? I'll be totally onboard if he becomes a party member

But didn't they say there will be more companions in later acts? I heard that Gale wasn't supposed to be in Early access so I'm thinking that it might be a possibility that not all companions might be true souls

Where did you hear that? I think you misunderstood something. I believe the whole plot of the game revolves around the concept of "True Souls."

I hope not. I can not stand that druid. Plus we have to leave a few classes for MC exclusives. PLUS I hope he can not be romanced..... there. maybe that is enough dislike for the liar, misleading us and trailing us along.

Sorry you feel that way dude. I actually find Halsin and Kagha very compelling Druids. For the former, I don't think he misled us like what the Hag did. The second he had time to explain the situation he did so upfront.

Besides, there's a lot of positive feedback regarding Halsin from forums alone so I do hope Larian considers making him as a permanent romanceable companion. Not all of the Companions have to be True Soul.
