But didn't they say there will be more companions in later acts? I heard that Gale wasn't supposed to be in Early access so I'm thinking that it might be a possibility that not all companions might be true souls
Sorry you feel that way dude. I actually find Halsin and Kagha very compelling Druids. For the former, I don't think he misled us like what the Hag did. The second he had time to explain the situation he did so upfront.
Besides, there's a lot of positive feedback regarding Halsin from forums alone so I do hope Larian considers making him as a permanent romanceable companion. Not all of the Companions have to be True Soul.
