Astarion and losing favor

He dislikes it when I am not gay and sleep with him. Couldn't this just oh idk not make him dislike me. I can't just be friends with him, I HAVE to sleep with him to increase his favor and not lose any????

Wouldn't you dislike it too if somebody turned you down? Just find other means to make him happy without having an intimate relationship.

Oh no, you lost 1 point of meaningless approval. It's not like there's one approval trigger every 10 seconds in the game.

Asstarion seems to get some sort of buff if you use his blood suck attack. No matter what you do, though, at least 1 of your team is going to hate it.

yep. this right here. anything you do there's always one or more that don't approve.

To the OP: I'm pretty sure if you take the dialogue choice to tell him that he can whine if he wants to, but you're having fun, he doesn't proposition you and you don't get any disapproval. In case you just want to avoid that awkwardness. Personally I think he's a great character and my lady adventurers have a great time with him... but to each their own!

You're welcome! Everyone should be able to role-play the way they want to, and (IMHO) if you just want to be friends with a companion that should be an option. Hopefully it works out and you can create the story you want. That's the whole point of an RPG after all.

Personally, I took the huge azz bolder from below his area and threw it at him, problem solved. Just don't like him, my personal opinion.

Even his looted gear was a disappointment. He is a rogue, and his armor, while pretty, has a 'disadvantage to stealth rolls when worn'... apparently Larian doesn't like him either!
