Cause you could make a completely broken AA in the past. You could make a Rogue/Wiz/AA and get all the AA bonuses BUT WITH SNEAK ATTACK.
It isn't worth a big debate on the subject, but when it comes to intellectual property and 3rd party rights it's only legal if they (being the owner of Xanathar's Guide) allows a direct copy of it implemented in a mod. It could go either way although I suspect they may just allow it given the money licensing is making them on the game already.
Couple of them add lots of cleric domains and another adds monk class, so you might get your wish even before the end of EA
Yeah, but that's the fun of making an AA, not to mention that a Wizard/Rogue could already sneak attack with RTA spells.
If you are focused solely on making the most powerful character then you really don't understand 5e d&d IMO.
A battlemaster with archery style is a more powerful archer than an arcane archer in combat, but it is not a better character.
oh well archery + eldritch knight is close enough ;-)
