I thought rules were there to quantify such things. I can do that stuff freestyle
Don’t know what it does in game. Sub. Interested in finding out
and
I wouldn't sell it tbh. I'd try it out first. 1 damage to yourself per hit may work just fine. I think I have is stashed somewhere myself and will give it a shot.
1. A bonus attack during their turn of 1d4. I would assume the second attack could potentially trigger the weapon spell attack.
2. Also gives the user's opportunity attacks the same reach as their weapon ... so 10 feet OA range. Which again could trigger the ensnaring strike.
Why are polearms not under weapon master???
Nvm... unless OP wants to know
Polearms should be under weapon master. If they currently aren't, I assume it is a bug or an oversight by Larian.
Well, you probably wouldn't want it as your only weapon. But as a situational thing, I'd keep it.
Or vendor it.
Damage to yourself will break concentration sometimes, so its a non-starter right there for most characters. Its not suitable for a rogue. Its certainly not a good pick for anyone to get weapon mastery at level 4, and if you did, I wouldn't do it for THIS weapon.
