Moon Disc puzzle

man this Moon Disc puzzle sucks.
For the life of me I can't get the moons to line up, guess my journey to Baldur's Gate is on hold until another passage opens up.
I could go kill that hag.. about all that is left on the map.

it's not fun to click the stupid discs , I know how they should line up, and they won't...
Dumb... respect my time, kill this puzzle.

You can find a lock and pick it. No need to solve the puzzle.

respect your own time,. if you can't hack it and solve the puzzle then take the alternate way into the underdark and go face the hag. Or as trea commented, see if you can find the hidden switch and lockpick it.

Puzzle is cake IF one has done it before or has seen countless vids on how to solve it. But as was mentioned, puzzle is easily bypassed by finding the lock (perception check will be required) and then successfully picking the lock. You are complaining over a nothingburger.

I made it the other way around and I had to invert it. The disks are turning sooooo slooowwwwly, why are they sooooo sloooowwww?

1- Puzzle is easy and can be bypassed with a lockpick as other said if you somehow struggle.
2- There are also 4 ways to the underdark not 2 like you seems to wrongly believe.

We have the opposite issue. The door opens randomly when the puzzle is in the wrong position/not solved

It also wasn't hugely difficult without a guide. There were only four things to rotate, so you can bruteforce it if you really can't plan ahead. I didn't have too many problems with it though.
