Gale dead bug?!

Hello,

i have a problem with my playthrough. In my camp, the Gale dies quest was triggered. I've done everything and received the scroll. However, I cannot target the dead Gale with it. The necrotic aura makes spending the night in the camp very uncomfortable :(

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Well looks like you killed poor Gale for good and doomed the whole EA area. Have you tried talking to the talkative skeleton and revive him?

I never found the scroll in patch 2. Was I doing something wrong or has it been fixed in patch 3? Isn't it just supposed to be in his inventory when he dies (not while he's alive)?

It is but I think you also need to trigger the scene where his illusion or whatever past-image explains to you how to get the scroll. I had a bug where he died and the scene was about to trigger but my character was standing in a puddle of whatever and got damage and the dialogue ended before he could tell me what to do. I had the pouch in his bag but couldn't open it in the way he wanted. Reload helped me and then everything was normal.

Thank you for your answers. I spoke to the demon / ghost / whatever and did all the steps of the quest correctly. A reload is out of the question because the event happened almost 5 hours ago.

Twice I went through the whole cut scene with my frustrated NPC mates correcting me all the way through. Still no pouch. I'll try it again with patch 3.
