Well I can confirm it does not work with AMD, I even tried 30 fps and it still didn't make a difference. Not that booting it up, or loading it is as bad as it was on DOS2. From the time I start it on steam we are talking about maybe 2-2.5 minutes, and loading times are about 45-60 seconds.
And I don't really consider that a problem, even though I know for a fact that I play much more graphic heavy games on it that boots up and loads about as fast as games on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
If the loading times stays like this then that is fine (I'm probably mainly noticing it because I've gotten so used to next gen load times being instant). The only reason I'm a bit worried is that during the prolouge, loading is virtually instant and the longer I get into patch 6 (which isn't very long currenlty going through the crypt) the longer the loads. And because I played DOS2:DE with it being fully released and all of its patches. The loading times at the end of act 1 got ridiclous. I worry that even when the game is actually released the same thing will happen.
Maybe it would have been better to split the game not only into acts but have loading areas in the map so that it doesn't have to load up every single thing on the map at once.
How ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ far back did you have to go to find a post from .... NOVEMBER 30 2021?! IT'S AUGUST 2023 WTF
