16GB RAM
Been thinking about buying into the EA, but the 16GB RAM recommended is putting me off.
Anyone with lower specs then 16GB RAM having a lot of problems?

No idea but Honestly 16 gigs of ram today don`t cost that much and it will be helpful for you in the future just saying.

I'm not 100% sure how much of an issue it causes, my current lack of an SSD is more of a problem, but BG3 takes up at least 4g of RAM and strives for more, which I don't have to give.

I'm using 8 at the moment, been procrastinating getting the 16, but it works just fine for me. It's been a bit since I checked but I think my RAM was using about 70-75% during play.

Thanks for all the replies everyone <3 It's about time I upgraded for sure, but I'll try it out with 8 GB RAM first :) Thanks again!

Nah... pretty sure 16gb recommended is primarily for those using integrated graphics... which shares system memory.

You'd still be required to have a fast enough internet connection to be able to run Stadia though.

An internet connection speed of 10 megabits per second (Mbps) or greater is the minimum recommended to use Stadia. A slower network speed can cause issues while playing games on Stadia.

To play in 4K resolution, you'll need an active Stadia Pro subscription and a network speed of 35 Mbps or greater. See below for hardware requirements.

yeah 10mbps is free here in my country

In your country it might be possible for pretty much everybody to be able to run Stadia, but there are still plenty of countries where sections of the country still have terrible internet.

50mbps is world standard

even the old ADSL can do up to 24mbps for 10 buck

For the final release, the specs will likely drop a bit. The game is in EA, so that means optimization hasn't really been done yet. Given Larian is going for AAA quality (or pretty close) you're going to need fairly hefty specs to run it, compared to most RPGs. Anyway, caveat emptor and all that.
