That's exactly why I'm going to buy it soon, because for me, DOS is better than Baldur (yes I said for me, it's my personal preference and you free to not agree) A DOS in Baldur skin fits my desires.
(The Bhaalspawn in the official story became Grandduke of Baldurs Gate, he is attacked by a last Spawn, the guy who teleports away if you enter the in Trademeet and one of them got killed, and the last of them turned into the butcher and kill everyone until slay be an adventur group).
So even officially the Bhaalspawn is gone.
The problem is Bhaal is not actually dead in current forgotten realms canon. They can actually do whatever the hell they want with the Story.
I really like BG3 and their adaptation of D&D 5E, it's slow but tons of fun for me.
It's a great game on its own. Besides, the BG series was already dead a buried. It's all gravy.
Some real points to be make, couse whatever I look every comment at one of "its not BG" threads are "go away troll".
Its genuine question. Answer please couse I need to know and if I make another thread "Why it is not BG?" I will be called troll lol.
Well, the easiest way to understand it for yourself is if you play BG 1&2 and then play BG3.
Which I highly suggest, as BG 1&2 are great crpgs.
Plsyed BG 1 and 2 but I am not buying any early access games anymore.
Instead we get all this dumb dice rolling rng to ruin our games. Nothing is certain, nothing is plannable, everything is a dice roll.
Player: I want to see if I can convince the merchant to lower the price of this item.
