Wyll/Volo bugged

Playing a Tiefling warlock and after the goblin battle Wyll just stands in front of the druid grove and will not talk to me. Also Volo was not in the druid grove.

is volothamp supposed to be in the druid grove? I met him at the goblin keep

I've met him in the druid grove before going to the goblin keep, maybe it is random depending on the play through? He tells you he is going to write about the battle and includes a dragon and hints to his plans at infiltrating the goblin keep.

Still unable to recruit/talk to Wyll, what gives?

His incentive to join you was to deal with the Goblin threat. If you already have taken care of that, then maybe that is why?

Wyll just randomly showed up in my camp in my playthrough. I was like wth. I never met this guy what is he doing here. O cool hes a warlock. Im a warlock hes a warlock. Time to spam eldritch blast. It was great but i still have no idea how he got into my camp and acted like we already met and had dialogue before this.

I have a quest to deal with the Goblin threat, haven't even been to that area yet and he is still bugged.

There seems to be time related conditions to events like this. Like how you can help shadowheart kill brain things if you get to her fast or else she kill them herself offscreen.

You meet him first in the grove, talking to him you inform him about the goblins. And then the fool decides to investigate them which cause him to end as their bard.

Same happened to me. Would be good if there is a cinematic introducing himself. For immersion.

I had very much the same experience. Also a warlock. Because of the "urgency" of the situation I chatted with very few people in the druid's grove. So, after I killed the goblin leaders and went to camp suddenly he was at my camp too and upset that I killed them without him and acted as if we knew each other and spoke as if I knew he has a tadpole too.

I killed all the gobelin camp, Volo run away an came after the fight. I told him to join my camp but he stay in the ruins temple. He don't came at my party to ! :(

From my experience, if you take too long getting to the Druid Grove and Inner Grove (too many days pass), then Volo leaves the Grove (or possibly got kidnapped by the goblins) to do his thing (bard stuff) at their big party in the main courtyard of the goblin basecamp.
