Glitch duplication
You can duplicate items if you go into your character sheet, left click on your item, it opens a window with your item, you drag it into your inventory, there you go

This would be actually hilarious if true. It's spaghetti code all over.

A similar bug occurred to me, but it isn't infinite; when you drag 2 items over each other in the action slots at the bottom of the UI they'll glitch. Activating them will allow you to trigger both simultaneously in combat.
