Key in blue jay's nest.

So in the Druid Grove there is a blue jay named ?Topaz? who has a "shiny key" in his nest has anyone found what it opens? I have been carrying it around for quite some time and I don't remember finding a chest or door that was locked that required it.

When you're at the blue jay, look up. You might find something interesting on top of a stone column. :) Unfortunately I have no idea how to get to it1

I can help you. Go to the top part of the grove and do some pillar jumping to get to the chest. You will see a group of three pillars. One with the chest on it, a second that you can't jump on because there isn't enough room and a third that looks like it will be to far away to make the jump from it to the pillar with the chest on it. It can be done.

Jump to the third pillar with your highest strength character and then use a potion of giant strength. Then quick save the game. The next part was frustrating. For some reason i had to find the perfect spot on the pillar i was jumping from and the perfect spot on the pillar with the chest to allow me to jump there(the jump line indicator). You can use the pause to find the spot so you don't burn through your potion.

BTW i didn't get anything worth my time from that chest.

Oh and sorry I couldn't tell you if that blue jay key is meant for that chest. I picked the lock.

Thank ML, appreciate it. I did try jumping early on when the EA first launched but got no where. Now I know I can take a potion of giant strength or use the spell that triples jump distance. But not worth it, huh? :(

it's also possible to summon a mage hand next to the small chest and throw it onto the rocks above (via left click and drag)

I really need to start using the mage hand more. After summoning it in the tutorial and it missing every attack I didn't summon it again and ended up forgetting about it.
