So that's 2nd person we create at the start of the game then? I was wondering what the point of that was...and who they were and what purpose they had...
or better yet don't get it at all. If something so silly is what you base your enjoyment of the ENTIRE GAME on, then maybe the game isn't for you in the first place.
Basically, becoming one means losing your character's identity, becoming an entirely new creature, and becoming a slave / servant to other Flayers / The Elder Brain.
It is possible, it is part of the start near the beach but basically you become the enemy of the party
I just think is a fresh idea to be able to play as one, nothing more nothing less.
